The Intro to Food

So Ruby is 6 months and I figured it was time to feed her some baby food. I must admit that I really dread this time, I hate baby food. I know I am an adult and should be able to deal with pureed (how do you spell that) squash, but I can't. When I open it, it spurts on my fingers and it grosses me out! I feel bad for poor Ruby... she was all excited but thoroughly disappointed after a few bites...we'll keep trying and I will try and be a big girl and deal with nastly watery green beans!

Ruby....looking very disappointed with her first experience with food.

Michelle,

Ruby is SO beautiful! Both of your kids are!

It is not cliche, I feel the same way. It is so hard to keep in touch, especially once you have a family... I am really learning that lesson. And I don't even have kids yet! Thanks for getting in touch again. If it would be all right with you, I would like to get together some time (really, I do). And yes, I am glad that we can keep in touch this way too. Talk to you soon.

MICHELLE!
Wow, it's been a long time! Your family is so beautiful, your little girl looks just like you, she's adorable! You look like you're so happy and I'm so glad! We should try to get together sometime! Keep in touch!
Love,
Jamie:)

I love her! And I'm so excited that you're an official blogger. I, too, gave in to the pressure and joined the ranks not too long ago myself. It's true that we never see eachother anymore. That's what I get for not doing the walking thing. One og these days, I'm going to buck up and go. (Tol is no longer a fan of the walks and it's also Addi's nap time so it's a long, miserable hour). I STILL have a gift for you (seriously??) and I have some left-over baby food I'll send your way. Now that I've written a book, see ya!

I am so with you on the baby food. It's yucky and it's just a pain. Who has the time?! Dani is almost 6 months and Ijust started this week and she did NOT like the bananas. Good luck!

Hey... it's Meagan (Wilson). I haven't seen you forever-probably since graduation!

I've been making my baby food, and my little girl likes it SO MUCH BETTER than the yucky jarred stuff. It's super easy, and tastes good. I figure if she has to eat it, I ought to be able to taste it without barfing, right? It's really easy, so if you want to try I can tell you how. Just let me know!

Cute family, by the way!
