HELP!

Okay, this is bad. I need dinner ideas. I love to cook and don't mind making dinner, but I hate coming up with things to make. I used to do this fun dinner group/exchange thing with my friends in Riverton and it was so nice to get new ideas. Unfortunatly, I don't live by those girl's anymore and I need some help getting ideas. I thought maybe we (as in me and the readers of this blog) could do a dinner idea exchange. Here is what I ask of you wonderful readers......what did you have for dinner for the last three nights? I am going to make a menu based on your meals. I am desperate, thanks for your help. If you are looking for ideas, I had pasta spinach salad, corn chowder, and baked potato bar. I look forward to your ideas. Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas Season!

I like chicken enchilada soup, chef salad, sloppy joes, and shake and bake chicken.

Hey Michelle! It was so good to see you last week! I just wanted to let you know that me and my mother and sister-in laws have a recipe blog. It's on my blog list under "other good websites" so take a look and maybe you can get some ideas from that! Hope your family is well!

This is so yummy. It is good for a dinner party because it is easy to make ahead of time.

This recipe for Applebee's Fiesta Lime Chicken

Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 lime, juiced
3 cloves garlic - minced
1 teaspoon tequila
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 pound boned, skinned chicken breasts
1/4 cup real mayonnaise - low fat okay
1/4 cup sour cream - low fat okay
2 tablespoons Spicy, Chunky Salsa
1 tablespoon Milk - low fat okay
1 teaspoon cajun blackening spice
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1/8 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/8 teaspoon cumin
1 cup shredded colby jack cheese
2 cups corn chips - crumbled

Directions:

Whisk together the first 8 ingredients, coat chicken in mixture, and marinade for at least 2 hours.

Whisk together the next 9 ingredients, cover, and chill until needed.

Grill the marinated chicken breasts for 3-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Discard marinade.

Brush grilled chicken with reserved dressing, sprinkle with cheese, and broil until cheese has melted.

Serve the chicken over a bed of crumbled chips.

I miss dinner group! Lets see, the last three nights: Tortilla Chicken Soup, Papa Johns pepperoni and olive pizza, and tonight, meatloaf with red potatoes. If you need the recipe for tortilla chicken soup, just let me know! Can't help ya with the pizza or meatloaf (it was My Girlfriends Kitchen). See, I need dinner group back...

Hi Michelle, miss ya! Yes, I'm in your same boat. So thanks for doing this. Last three nights: Potsticks (from Costco, frozen food section), went out, and Polish Kielbasa in the crockpot with cut up potatoes and carrotts. Dump 1 can of beef broth and one envelope of dried onion soup mix then let the crockpot do the rest. On high 7-8 hours.

Hey Babe!! I love to cook too. I just wish my kitchen were bigger. Oh, and a dishwasher would be nice too! Anywho, I still love anything culinary. We love meatloaf, potatoes & broccoli. Stouffers Lasagna when it's on sale. And Biscuits and Gravy. Merry Christmas!!

Okay, I know I'm about a month late, but I hate coming up with ideas, too... so I thought I'd help you out!

Creamy Tomato Basil soup with Focaccia bread (both super easy to make)

Chicken Stiry Fry

Pot Stickers with asian salad (basic salad w/asian dressing)

Cheeseburgers with sweet potato fries

I have a favorite site... ourbestbites.com I have a link on my blog. They've got super easy food, all delicious! Their French Dip sandwich is SO good. I normally don't even like those.

I like easy, good, food!
